Decorating your Home School and Office

Who would have thought that 6 months after our first sheltered at home back in March, we would still be navigating social distancing?  Certainly not me. 

Yet here it is August 2020 and most of Illinois is figuring out if children will go to school or learn remotely at home.  Adults as well have many working from home now as well.

How many of you have re-arranged their “office” so that when having zoom calls what is behind you looks good.  I think we should make it look great!  Sometimes, all it takes is a new eye to look at using your furniture differently.  And of course- I think you should show off what is most important to you on the wall right behind you!  That would be your family.  Family can be made up of many different things.  Two parents and children, Single parent and children, animals instead of or in addition to children, etc…

I would love to create a new portrait for you to hang in your “At Home School Room” or your Home Office. 

Recently, I photographed a family who’s oldest daughter is moving to Minnesota.  We not only did a family portrait but we also did three professional business portraits and a sibling portrait. 

Just because the world has stopped functioning doesn’t mean our children stop growing up.
