I have seen and admired portraits captured by Audrey Wancket for years–in friends’ homes and at Dr. George Stankevych’s office.  We have a gorgeous 11 month old Golden Retriever, Sunny, of whom I am training for therapy dog at present.  Sunny is our 4th Golden.  We had always wanted to have a professional portrait done of our majestic canines, and as fate would have it, we never did.  Our pets never last as long as we wish they would/could.  It is my wish to have a portrait done by Audrey of Sunny with both my boys, one of whom is in the AF and due to come home in August.  How special it would be to get Ryan is his full AF uniform, my youngest son, and their best friend captured in time.  I am so proud of my boys for the fine men that they have become, and we are so lucky to have our Sunny as part of our family.  I can’t wait to take him to the hospitals, VA centers, assisted living and retirement homes, schools, etc.. once he is totally certified as therapy dog to spread a little sunshine to all of whom he meets.  He is an incredible dog with a special gift.  I would like to have the love between dog and human secured in a portrait of Sunny and the boys, and I hope that Audrey would honor us with that gift.  She has an extraordinary talent of refining the essence of a person’s (and an animal’s) soul as seen through her work.  What a gift this would be!
